9 Email Scripts for Real Estate Agents

Email is often the easiest and most cost effective way to stay in touch with your past clients. However, most people are bombarded with dozens, or even hundreds, of emails a day and it can be difficult to get your emails noticed. 

The key is to consistently email information that your audience finds useful. Sometimes this means you are selling something. But sometimes it means you are simply informing or educating. Consistently sending a mix of relevant messages will motivate your audience to read the emails, and act on them. 

Below are 9 different scripts specifically for real estate agents. That’s right, we are giving you NINE WEEKS of email content so you don’t have to think about it.  Many of these messages require a little bit of customization (such as adding a link) so be sure to read through them carefully before you send. But each of them provides a solid message that your real estate audience will love! 

Community Events

Many communities host several different events during the spring and summer months. Let your audience know what is coming up in their neighborhood, especially if you plan to be there yourself! You can either create your own blog article with a list of events, or you can direct them to a city calendar. If you live near a sports stadium, consider doing an entire email focused on the home teams schedule. Below are a couple scripts to get you started.

Script #1
Spring is here and you know that means…baseball season! My family and I are huge <<insert team name>> fans and we are so excited for this season.

To celebrate opening day, here’s a link to the season schedule. Pay special attention to their special events with fireworks shows, concerts and special giveaways. If you head to the stadium, shoot me a text or an email, I’d love to meet up with you!

Hello! I just wanted to invite you to a special community event happening this weekend <<insert day and time>> at <<insert location.>> I’ll be there with a booth set up and would love it if you stopped by and said “hi!” We’ll be holding a raffle with some great prizes, including <<name specific prizes>>. We’ll also be giving away free information about current real estate market conditions. Hope to see you there!

Happy Spring! One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to go out and participate in all of the fantastic community events our city has to offer. There are events for kids and families, indoor and outdoor, paid classes and free festivals.

Homeowners Tips

Not everyone in your audience is ready to sell TODAY. But it’s important to stay in touch with them and provide them with information they do find valuable now. Below are three scripts you can use to educate and connect with homeowners who might not be ready to put that For Sale sign. 

Script #1
As the days get warmer and longer, many homeowners start tackling that long list of home improvement projects! Listen, YouTube is a great resource for those small DIY projects. But if you find that some projects are a little bigger than you anticipated, you might need to call in a professional! Before you check Yelp, check out my list of trusted and vetted contractors. My list includes plumbers, painters, electricians, handymen, etc. All of them I have worked with personally on several different projects.
